The centrepiece of the İlk Kurşun Müzesi on Tufan Sokak in Özerli Mahallesi, Dörtyol, is a set of wax figures. Made with the wax technique from a durable silicone mixture, they portray Mustafa Kemal Atatürk together with Selim Çavuş, Hacı Emin Hoca, Mustafa Deliağa, the mufti known as Çifte Tabancalı Müftü, Mehmet Kara and Kara Hasan Paşa.
Around the figures the collection brings together historical pictures and paintings, independence medals, official and historical documents, pictures of Turkish women in the Milli Mücadele, and weapons ranging from daggers, swords and bayonets to firearms. Another part is given over to things the people of the area used in daily life: household goods and small utensils, mostly of copper and wood, clothing, coins and paper money.
