The mosque stands where Kemal Paşa Caddesi meets Kurtuluş Caddesi in Antakya, dated in the inventory to 1285. It is a monumental building of cut stone with a polygonal minaret.
There are entrances from both streets. The one on Kurtuluş Caddesi is a rectangular frame with a pointed blind niche and an arch with muqarnas at three corners. The courtyard is paved in cut stone and carries an arcade of six pointed arches, also of cut stone.
