Düzgün Baba Dağı lies about fifteen kilometres from Nazımiye, between the centre of Tunceli and that district. Its height is given as 2,097 metres, and at the top there is a cave called Çile — or Çele.
The story told is that the men sent by Düzgün Baba's father, at his mother's insistence, found Düzgün Baba in this cave. The mountain takes its name from him.
It is regarded as one of the important places of visit in the province. Those coming from the Tunceli side reach it by way of Kıl village, and those coming from Nazımiye by way of the villages of Günlüce and Çevrecik.
