The park sits beside the Enne dam, 1.3 kilometres from the Enne quarter and 16 from the centre of Kütahya, reached by surfaced road. It was declared a nature park on 11 July 2011 and covers 47.2 hectares.
It serves the resting, recreation and picnicking of the people of Kütahya. It has capacity for 4,400 visitors, 379 vehicles and 12 tents.
The water the park sits beside was not made for recreation. The Enne dam was built to supply the Seyitömer thermal power station, and the park was laid out along its west and south sides. Inside it are an entrance control point, a bird observation point, a country restaurant, one motorboat for excursions, a camping ground and a separate tent camping ground, five car parks, children's playgrounds, toilets, a prayer room and barbecues for picnics. The uses named are day picnics, walking, open-air events and organised gatherings, a boat tour that serves to show the area, and activities for children; the directorate says the park is chosen mostly in spring and summer, and mostly for picnicking.
The vegetation is a dry-country mixture: oak, cedar of Lebanon, cypress, juniper, rock rose, black pine, bramble, wild pear, blackthorn, milkvetch, dog rose, thyme and various grasses. The animals listed run from Persian squirrel, brown hare, hedgehog, fox and wild boar through steppe lizard, grass snake, spur-thighed tortoise and four kinds of frog to turtle dove, wood pigeon, collared dove, great spotted woodpecker, blackbird, house sparrow, barn swallow, cormorant, little egret, great egret and gadwall — a list that explains why a bird observation point was put here.
