The Gindeş waterfall is a natural monument of 32 hectares at Kantarlı village in the Hemşin district of Rize, declared on 28 October 2021. Gindeş is a summer plateau in the eastern Black Sea.
Four routes lead there, and the difference between them is the road surface. From Rize via Çayeli is 58.3 kilometres, of which 50 are asphalt or concrete and 8.4 gravel. From Çayeli via Başköy is 38.4 kilometres, 30 asphalt or concrete and 8.4 gravel. From Pazar via Hemşin is 53.2 kilometres, 27 asphalt or concrete and 26.2 gravel. From Ardeşen via Çamlıhemşin, Zil Kale and the Gito plateau is 57 kilometres, of which 30 are asphalt or concrete, 13 stone paving and 14 gravel.
