A tiled, gabled roof on a timber frame shelters the whole length of Hapsiyaş Köprüsü, which is why it is also called Kiremitli Köprü, the tiled bridge. It stands in the Bölümlü neighbourhood of Trabzon's Of district and crosses in a single span, running east to west between two supports. The piers are of stone, while the load-bearing beams, the deck and the railings are all timber, and the roof is covered with traditional tiles of the Turkish type.
