Guide

The hot springs of Havza rise on high ground to the west of the town and have served visitors for centuries. People travelled from many places in the belief that the water helped certain internal and skin diseases, and as their numbers grew the authorities built a bathhouse, a soup kitchen and a guesthouse. The provincial directorate notes that the architecture of the Sultan Mesud and Şadi Paşa baths points to the Seljuk period. Havza and the nearby Hamamayağı area have many licensed hotels and municipal lodgings that cater to spa visitors.
