Both inscriptions on this mosque record repairs rather than its building, so its date is not given. The one on the outer door says that Hacı Ali, son of Abdurrahman Bese, repaired the minaret and the door, and gives the year 1764. The one on the minbar speaks of the minbar's repair, dated 1797, without naming who had it done.
The source gives the mosque's place twice and differently: the Harrankapi area of the Kendirci quarter in the description, and the Bahçelievler quarter in the address. It is reached by city transport.
