Both inscriptions on the Hayrullah mosque at Şanlıurfa record repairs rather than its building, so the date it was built is not known. The one on the outer door says that Hacı Ali, son of Abdurrahman Bese, repaired the minaret and the door, and gives the year 1764. The one on the minbar speaks of the minbar's repair, dated 1797; the name of whoever had it done is not written on it.
