The Hesarek ski centre stands on Hesarek Dağı, thirty-four kilometres from the city of Bingöl and forty-five from Bingöl airport.
It has five pistes — professional, amateur and one for children — the longest of them 1,600 metres, with a ski tow of 1,000 metres, a chairlift of 1,200 metres and a baby lift of 200 metres. The ski season here lasts about four to five months.
There is a hotel at the ski facilities with thirty-five rooms and seventy beds, and the hotels in the city centre can also be used.
