Yolçatı is Bingöl's ski centre, with a single 1,000-metre piste and runs for both beginners and advanced skiers. The lower station stands at 1,650 m and the upper at 1,890 m, and the average gradient is 25 per cent.
The climate here is continental, and the season starts in December and lasts until March. A ski lodge provides 50 beds; for health care and other services you have to go into Bingöl itself.

The centre is 25 km from Bingöl and is reached by private vehicle.

- Across Bingöl as a whole, monthly mean temperatures run from -2.1 °C in January to 26.7 °C in July; the mean stays between 15 and 25 °C in May, June and September; rainfall is heaviest in January (137 mm) and lightest in August (4 mm). Long-term means for 1961-2025 from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM).
