The mosque is of the Ottoman period, but the exact date it was built is not known.
It is entered through a porch for latecomers covered by three domes, and the prayer hall itself is square in plan under a dome. It is on Atatürk Caddesi in the Yenice quarter, in the centre of Kırşehir.
