Guide
Karakum takes its name from its fine, jet-black volcanic sand. The beach is 2 kilometres from the centre of Sinop, on the road that circles the Sinop peninsula, and has hotels, a holiday village, cafes, restaurants, bungalow-style houses and caravan and tent pitches, run by both public and private operators.
