Neither building here is what it was: the mosque has been rebuilt, and the tomb has lost most of its original character through repairs. Both are dated to the fifteenth century.
The tomb is eight-sided under a pointed cap, and inside it is the sarcophagus of the Alevi sheikh known as Koçubaba, after the village, and also as Koçumbaba. The village is in the Balişeyh district of Kırıkkale.
