The building known as the Taş Mektep in Keskin, Kırıkkale, served as a children's and public library of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and was later allocated to the district governor's office; it is used today as the Hacı Taşan Culture Centre.
It is a stone building of one storey with a half basement, built in the red stone of Ankara. The entrance is on the east, where a stone stair in the middle leads up to a canopy; the door from the canopy into the main building is framed by a stone moulding and topped by a triangular pediment with moulded edges, and it carries an inscription. Three rectangular windows stand on each side of that front, arched with a keystone at the centre and with a semicircular stone moulding above. The building is rectangular, with three windows in each of the short sides and five at the back. A stone moulding runs along the eaves, and the roof is laid with Marseille tiles.
