The museum of the Koramaz valley is told as a love story, and the whole display is built on it: Oğuz, a Muslim man, and Suzan, a Greek girl, carry the visitor through the valley's history. Through their story the seven settlements of the valley are introduced with reconstructed scenes and historical objects — Ağırnas, where the museum itself stands, together with Subaşı, Turan, Vekse, Bağpınar and the two Bürüngüz villages, the greater and the lesser.
It fills the restored Çerkes Mustafa Bey Konağı in Ağırnas, in the Melikgazi district, and uses all of it: a rock-cut chamber below, a ground floor, an upper floor and the courtyard, 739 square metres in all. Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality opened it on 16 May 2025, during Museums Week, as part of its work on the valley, which is on the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage.
