Cebeci, 27 km from Kandıra, is a long, wide beach of fine sand and clean sea set in green countryside, and it is one of the places where tent camping is most widespread. Kültür Portalı says the beach is large enough for 10,000 people to sunbathe in summer without disturbing one another, and in summer the sun sets straight across the water in front of it.
There are plenty of motels and guesthouses in the village. The swimming season begins in mid-June, and the sea and sun stay pleasant until September.
