The TED Ankara College School Museum sets out the history of the TED Ankara College Foundation Schools from their founding in 1931 to the present. It is on the ground floor of the administrative building at the İncek campus, opened on 21 May 2008, and holds private museum status granted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Before the entrance stands a model, faithful to the original, of the school buildings on Ziya Gökalp Caddesi that were in use from 1937 until 2005. The first thing to catch the eye inside is a large photograph from 1938 showing Semra Baydar, then a pupil at the college, pinning the TED badge to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's jacket during the Youth and Sports Day ceremony at the 19 Mayıs Stadium.
The galleries are arranged by theme and hold photographs of the school, its events, its teachers and its pupils from the earliest years onwards, a reconstructed classroom, historical documents, diplomas and records, teaching and office equipment, musical instruments, handwritten scores, a sports corner, and a computer running software that carries the yearbook photographs and details of some thirty thousand graduates along with a game called Biz Kımız. The museum runs visit programmes so that pupils can learn the history of a school almost as old as the Republic, and parents, alumni and student groups from other schools come in numbers too.
