The mosque at Sağman village, twenty kilometres north of Pertek in Tunceli province, is thought to have been built in 1555 by Salih Bey, son of Keyhüsrev Bey. A portal of coloured stone leads into the square, domed main space, the dome resting on an octagonal drum and covered with stone above; the minaret is entered from outside the mosque. The hexagonal tomb beside it is decorated with bands of coloured stone.
The mosque has been restored, and one loss should be noted: the marble and porphyry columns on the entrance front are no longer in place. The carving on the entrance door is careful work and the thing to look at. Adjoining the mosque is a sebil made from a single block of marble, with more than thirty taps on it.
