On a hilltop at the north-east corner of the Veysel Karani tomb, in the town of Veysel Karani in Baykan district, stands the tomb of Şeyh Osman, and most people who come to visit Veysel Karani stop here as well. The building, registered for protection in 1991, has been completely renewed. It is a rectangular structure of Ahlat stone running east to west.
The eastern half is a square masjid under a dome on pendentives, with a semicircular, round-arched mihrab niche in the middle of the qibla wall. The western half is a barrel-vaulted rectangle running north to south and divided in two; Şeyh Osman's grave, with its sarcophagus, lies between the northern part and the masjid. Both halves are lit by flat-lintelled windows, and the north door into the masjid is for men, the west door for women.
