Tavşan Tepesi Nature Park lies within the Şavşat district of Artvin, two kilometres from the district centre, and is open twenty-four hours. It is also called Tavşantepe.
The rich natural resources and wildlife of the province of Artvin made its acceptance as a nature park possible. A wildlife development area was set up within the park in 2018 in order to protect the wildlife of the region.
Besides its natural resources and wildlife, the park commands a view over the whole of Şavşat.
