Tazı Canyon lies within the Köprülü Canyon National Park in the Manavgat district of Antalya, cut by the Kopruçay over millions of years, and it is also known as the Valley of Wisdom. It runs about four kilometres, with sheer rock walls of 300 to 400 metres and red pine forest above them, and the view from the rim is the reason people come.
The area supports a varied ecosystem: wild goat, fox, wolf and badger are found here along with a range of bird species. Walking, taking in the view, photography, camping and outdoor sports are what the canyon is used for. Since it is inside the national park, a visit can be combined with other sites in it — the ancient city of Selge, the St Paul Trail and the rock figures known as Adam Kayalar. The canyon is reached through Beşkonak in Manavgat.
