Kargıhan stands at Beydigin in the Manavgat district of Antalya, on the old trade road linking central Anatolia to the Mediterranean. It has no inscription, and on the evidence of its architecture it is dated to the reign of the Anatolian Seljuk sultan Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev, between 1236 and 1246.
The han is enclosed by thick walls and consists of a rectangular covered section running east to west on the north side, and, to the south, open and closed cells around a square open courtyard. The covered section and the cells on the west of the courtyard are divided into two aisles by square piers, and the main hall and the other cells are vaulted. The portal in the middle of the south wall opens onto the courtyard, and it is unusual: rectangular and projecting from the wall, with a low-arched entrance door set within a pointed-arched opening in the form of an iwan.
