Guide

Uludağ's ski area is spread over two hills, Fatintepe and Kuşaklıkaya, 36 km from the centre of Bursa. Together with the national park — the mountain was declared one in 1961 — it covers 11,338 hectares. The ski terrain runs from 1,750 m up to 2,435 m; the summit of the mountain is at 2,543 m, and the hotel zone reaches about 2,000 m at its highest point.

The resort has hotels and holiday villages, facilities for day-trip skiers, shops and places for dancing and entertainment; businesses rent out ski equipment and instructors give private lessons. The provincial directorate also describes Uludağ as suited to ski touring and heli-skiing.
