The Yedigöz aqueduct stands at Hidiraga, outside Edirne, and it is the largest piece of the Taslimüsellim water system that Mimar Sinan built for the city. It was one of the water lines commissioned from Sinan in 1530 to supply Edirne while the soup kitchen, mosque and other buildings endowed there by Hürrem Sultan were going up.
It is 98 metres long and 3.1 wide, on seven pointed arches, built of blocks of küfeki stone, and stands between 25 and 35 metres above the ground. It runs north to south and has two ventilation shafts. Thick trees and scrub have grown up all around it.
