Yelimera Kanyonu covers 42 hectares on the boundary between Manisa and Kütahya, within the Selendi district of Manisa, 3 kilometres from Karataş Terziler village and 34 from the town.
The canyon is what the monument protects, and the Directorate lists its elements one by one: the landforms cut into the rock by water and wind, the caves in the canyon walls, large and small, and the pools formed along the floor by the Yellimera stream, with herbaceous and woody plants growing between them. Its depth and its length are what make it stand out.
