Abdullah yayla lies on Köse Dağı, the highest mountain in Çorum, in the Kargı district — 114 kilometres from Çorum, 26 from the district town and twelve from the İstanbul-Samsun road that passes through Osmancık. It has plentiful clean water and country that has not been built over.
Unlike many pastures it is equipped for staying: there is accommodation with 22 beds, a restaurant seating 120 and a picnic ground for a thousand people. The area has routes for walking and for riding, the main one twelve kilometres long. Two things to look for along it: the view through binoculars from the fire watchtower on the Oynar yayla, and the tree known as the thirty-two-forked pine.
