The spring here is hot: 67 degrees, on the bank of the Tigris near Dügünyurdu village in the Güçlükonak district of Şırnak. There is a thermal hotel on the site.
The water contains calcium and sulphide; its flow is measured at 7 litres a second and its pH at 7.15, and the hydrogeological conditions would allow the flow to be increased. Bathing there is described as beneficial for rheumatic complaints and for women's complaints.
