Guide
Çeşme Ilıcası sits right on the shore, 5 km from Çeşme on the İzmir–Çeşme road, where a hot spring and a beach share the same spot — a pairing the provincial directorate counts among the rarest in the world. The water comes out at around 58 °C and contains sodium, potassium and magnesium chlorides.
The directorate lists it as useful for all chronic forms of rheumatism, for metabolic disorders such as gout and obesity, and for rickets and women's, skin, liver and urinary complaints. Şifne Bay, with a spa of its own, lies to the northeast.
