Güver Kanyonu Tabiat Parkı covers 262.92 hectares in the Döşemealtı district of Antalya and was declared a nature park in April 2020. The canyon itself is the reason: it holds the status of a strictly protected sensitive area, and the cliff, 115 metres deep, splits the ground into three.
The canyon was cut by the erosion of travertine, a process the Directorate estimates took around a million years, and large streams run through it. It lies hidden among extensive pine forest despite being close to the city.
Facilities have been proposed but not built: an entrance control point, a nature education centre, a fauna interpretation centre and day-use areas are planned and work continues. What the park currently offers is the viewpoints over the canyon, along with walking and mountain biking.
The park is 15 to 20 kilometres from the centre of Antalya, 5 from Döşemealtı and 120 from Burdur.
