Gölcük Nature Park surrounds a crater lake in the hills above Isparta, ringed by pine and oak forest and lying well above sea level; the directorate gives no depth, diameter or altitude for it. The park covers 4,983.34 hectares and was declared on 24 November 2023.
There are marked viewpoints over the lake, of which Pilav Tepe is the one the directorate names, and from them the whole crater can be seen from above. Other activities are time in the bird observation hide, rod fishing on the lake, orienteering, and staying overnight in the park. The lake is volcanic in origin, formed by an eruption.
Entry is charged. The tariff sets separate rates for arriving on foot, by motorcycle, by car, by small or large minibus, and by coach; the page carries no date showing when those rates were set, so the amounts are not repeated here and should be checked before travelling. Capacity is 2,150 visitors and 750 vehicles, with hours of 08:30 to 23:00. Isparta Municipality holds the concession.
The park is in Yakaören village in the central district of Isparta. In summer, municipal midibuses run every two hours from the Kaymakkapı stops in central Isparta.
