The second of the Kapıderesi cedars stands in Garip village, in the Senirkent district of Isparta, and was declared a natural monument on 6 September 2002. The directorate records it at 614 years old and 20 metres tall, with a trunk 2.16 metres across and a girth of 6.80 metres — the thickest trunk of the three Taurus cedars protected around Senirkent.
The protected plot is a tenth of a hectare and the stated capacity is 12 visitors and a single vehicle; opening hours are 09:30 to 16:30. Three separate cedars in the same district carry monument status, so check which one you are heading for before you set out.
