The Lari mosque at Edirne is built on ground falling from east to west. Its south-west and south-east sides face the street, and there is a courtyard on the north. It was repaired by the General Directorate of Foundations in 2006.
It is square in plan, wrapped on the east, west and north by a porch — that is, on every side except the qibla. The minaret stands free at the north-east, against the porch.
