The Sarıca Paşa masjid at Edirne stands on the lower of two levels in its garden, with the burial ground on the upper one.
The masjid is small, close to square in plan, built in alternating courses of brick and stone — roughly dressed in some parts, regular cut stone in others. The side and qibla faces carry three windows each in two rows; the lower ones have knobbed iron grilles and pediments, the upper ones were fitted with stained-glass screens.
