The tomb stands on a hill looking over Kumaşır Gölü, six kilometres south of central Kahramanmaraş in the Aksu quarter.
The building is stated to have been originally raised in 1201. What is there now has been laid out for visitors: a small mescit, the tomb chamber, and landscaping around them.
