The tomb sits between Camii Kebir Caddesi and Beybaba Sokak, its courtyard gate on the lane. It is built of cut stone under a single dome, ten-sided, though not every face has a window; the ones that do have two tiers.
In front of the door is a portico on six square marble columns, which the source compares to the portico of the Sinan Paşa tomb at Çarşıkapı. The inscription over the door dates the building to 1589.
Repairs have changed its surroundings more than the building itself: the marble grilles above the lower windows were removed and replaced with plain slabs, and in 1942 the high courtyard wall was lowered and the lane that ran past the tomb was closed.
