The han was built in 1898 for Tiritoğlu Mehmet Paşa and stands on Cumhuriyet Caddesi in the Özdemir quarter. It has two storeys around a courtyard, and the plan is irregular — the outline comes out skewed.
You enter from the south face, which is faced throughout in regular cut stone. The door has a depressed arch with a projecting keystone carved with an abstract leaf, a course of stone above it and then a triangular pediment. Paired angular pilasters on square bases flank the entrance, ending in plain moulded capitals, and the same pilasters repeat on the second-storey wall; a rectangular window with a depressed arch sits between them. On the ground floor there are five windows west of the entrance and three to the east, their keystones carved with acanthus leaves.
It was repaired between 1990 and 1996.
