The Clandras aqueduct throws a single narrow arch across the Banaz stream inside the Ulubey canyon, its two ends resting on the rock of the hillsides. It is 24 metres long and 17 metres high.
It was built to carry the spring on the eastern side of the canyon 2.5 kilometres to the nearby ancient city of Pepouza, thought to have been a large settlement. The aqueduct and the ground around it lie on the 7,863-metre walking route laid out in the Clandras-Pepouza ecotourism area, and they are a popular picnic spot locally.
