Paşaca Tabiat Parkı covers 199 hectares within the boundaries of Beşir and Beşirli villages in the Görele district of Giresun and was declared on 15 September 2020.
The park is built around falling water. The Paşaca and Ağkaş streams drop suddenly from high rock and continue as a series of cascades down to Beşirli village, winding through the Paşaca locality on the way. The most important of these falls is the Paşaca waterfall itself, which drops around 40 metres and runs in summer as well as winter. Forest, rock and water lie against one another here, and the Directorate also describes the area as suited to rest and recreation within that landscape.
Around four-fifths of the tree cover is alder, beech, hornbeam and chestnut, with plane, ash, willow, poplar, maple, elm, spruce and hazel making up the rest. The mammals recorded are bear, roe deer, hare, wolf, fox, badger, weasel, beech and pine marten, stoat and jackal, and the birds of prey raven, falcon, buzzard, golden eagle, harrier, eagle owl, owl and kite.
Nothing has been built here yet — the development plan is still in preparation — and visitors use the area as it stands; a capacity of 300 is stated. The park is 87 kilometres from Giresun and 27 from Görele; the route runs 7 kilometres from Görele to Çavuşlu and a further 20 to the waterfall. The Sis Dağı plateau road passes to the west of the site.
