Çatak is a plateau in the Saimbeyli district of Adana with a monumental plane tree fed by small waterfalls running off the mountainside, and arbours built on the trunks and branches of the plane trees, where people picnic. It is also where Saimbeyli takes its drinking water from.
A small rest facility belonging to the forestry directorate operates on the plateau, and there is room to camp. To get there, turn left at the second kilometre of the Saimbeyli-Tufanbeyli road and follow three kilometres of gravel road through the orchards; municipal buses run from Saimbeyli.
