The tomb — recorded under two names, Şeyh Babo and Üryan Baba — stands on a slope in the İnönü quarter of Bitlis, and the provincial directorate describes it as one of the town's important places of visitation.
It has no foundation inscription. The date 1834 appears on the gravestone inside it, which dates the burial rather than the building.
