Tynada stands on the skirts of Sivri Tepe, a hill commanding the country east of Aksu in Isparta province, and the city extends into the territory of the villages of Karagi and Kocular. The temple and building remains show it to belong to the Hellenistic period.
What can be made out on the ground are the remains of the temple and of buildings, the remains of a round structure, inscriptions, gravestones, and a rock tomb on the southern face of Sivri Tepe; roof tiles and fragments of storage jars, pots and small jugs lie in quantity on the surface. Getting there is the difficulty: the site is eight kilometres east of Aksu at Terziler village, and the graded road from that village is hard going, so the quicker approach is a one-kilometre climb from the Karabogazi area at Kocular.
