Malos was a small mountain town, and what survives of it is on a hill at Göynücek Gediği near the town of Sariidris, in the Eğirdir district of Isparta. Its acropolis is ringed by walls of the Hellenistic and Roman periods, one of whose towers is still standing and sound. On the east slope of the hill a stepped meeting place is cut into the rock. The town's public buildings have not been identified.
One of its temples stands a kilometre north-west of the town, near Kaserenler Tepesi: its east wall and doorway are still up, parts of the side walls of its almost square plan remain, and behind it there is a cave. The temple was built in front of that cave, in the same manner as the Eurymedon sanctuary in front of the Zindan cave at Aksu, in this same region.
