Guide
Yıldızkoy is on the north coast of Gökçeada, east of Kaleköy, a village that wraps around the remains of an old castle on a high hill. With Deniz Parkı, Yelken Kaya and the Peynir Kayalıkları, it belongs to a stretch of shore battered by rough waves. The sea between Yıldızkoy and Yelkenkaya, with its striking rock formations, has been declared an underwater national park and placed in the care of TÜDAV, the Turkish Marine Research Foundation.
Getting there
Ferries to Gökçeada sail from Kabatepe on the Gelibolu Peninsula, 14 miles away, and from Çanakkale, arriving at Kuzu Limanı.
