Yozgat Çamligi was declared on 5 February 1958, and the provincial directorate records it as the first national park in Türkiye. It covers 517.33 hectares in the central district of Yozgat and takes its name from the Anatolian black pine growing in it.
Conifers make up most of the cover; 212 plant species from 144 genera and 43 families have been recorded here, among them Scots pine and aspen alongside the black pine. Yozgat is reached by road and by rail, and the nearest airport is Kayseri, 175 kilometres away; from the E88 through the town, follow the signs to the park. It is open around the clock, with capacity for 2,000 visitors and 170 vehicles.
