Our compilation for Artvin, not an official route. This is a province of valleys, and its roads follow them rather than the straight lines on a map.
The Barhal church is at Yusufeli and the Atatürk monument in Artvin town. At Camili in Borçka the village mosque and the biosphere reserve stand beside one another in our inventory — two separate records, not one — and the Şavşat fairy chimneys are the other built stop.
Artvin's best-known protected areas are all on this list: the Cehennem Deresi canyon, the Hatila valley national park, Borçka Karagöl and Altıparmak. They are not a single day's outing, wherever the grouping puts them.
One correction came out of writing this. The Camili biosphere reserve was recorded in our inventory as a mosque, because of the Camili in its name; the type has been fixed. What each place is, and who says so, is on its own page.
