Our compilation for Kars, not an official route. Ani, the ruined medieval city on the Armenian border, is the reason most people come.
On this route it is represented by the city walls, the church of Aziz Prkich and the Silk Road bridge, all within a few hundred metres of one another at Ani, about 45 kilometres east of Kars. Treat them as one place.
In the city itself stands the Gazi Ahmet Muhtar Paşa mansion, and the Kars Museum is also on the list.
