The Anadolu Aslanı is not an antiquity but a viewing point: giant lion figures set on two hills on Amazon Island in Batipark, on the western side of the İlkadım district of Samsun, built to hold a cafe and a terrace.
Inside them are a projection show area, a cafeteria and a gift counter. Batipark is easy to reach by minibus from the centre of the city.
