Spread over 80 decares in Darıca, the Faruk Yalçın Hayvanlar Alemi ve Botanik Bahçesi keeps close to 2,000 animals from nearly 200 species, which the Ministry's Kültür Portalı says makes it the zoo with the most species in Türkiye. With more than 250 plant species, it is also counted among the country's leading botanical parks.
