The Ensari house in the Alibey quarter of Cizre is built on flat ground on a north-south axis, rectangular in plan, of regular cut stone: two storeys with a courtyard and an iwan, under a flat roof.
Both the ground and upper floors are arcaded, and the plan is U-shaped around the courtyard in the middle. It is reached by city transport.

- Across Şırnak as a whole, monthly mean temperatures run from 2.6 °C in January to 29.2 °C in July; the mean stays between 15 and 25 °C in May, June, September and October; rainfall is heaviest in March (120 mm) and lightest in August (1 mm).
