Erikbeli Yaylası lies at 1,800 metres at the head of the Süme stream valley, within Özkürtün in Kürtün district of Gümüşhane. It was declared a tourism centre in 1990.
The plateau is said to have existed since the fifteenth hundreds, and in the days when people travelled on foot it served as a place to stop for the night. The provincial directorate gives no source for that dating and records no facilities there now.
